New Digital Strategy set to transform Strathclyde
Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) Beth Lawton is leading the development of the University’s first Digital Strategy.
Set to help Strathclyde build on its strengths to secure a future as a digital exemplar, and following good digital practice, the strategy will be developed in collaboration with colleagues across the University. The project will start this month with a series of wide-ranging focus groups and workshops, where we want to hear what is important to you and your role.
Beth said: “This is our opportunity to imagine and shape the Digital Strathclyde of the future. Our focus groups will consider how digital could be a key enabler in achieving each of the University’s five Strategic Goals. We’re inviting all staff to sign up to one or more of our Digital Strategy focus groups. We’ll be looking not just at digital technology but also the way we can use it to transform our data and processes and how it might benefit our staff, students and partners. We know that there will not be one single ‘right’ solution, so we want to hear both your practical and aspirational thoughts to make sure that all views are represented.”
