Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Research Staff (e.g. Research Assistants, Research Associates, Research Fellows)
This is a session of the monthly Researcher Meet-up, a series of informal get-togethers for researchers to connect with peers and learn about initiatives and services at Strathclyde:
Come and join us to get to know your fellow researchers and learn more about what’s going on around the University for research staff.
The event will start with a short presentation by a speaker from one of Strathclyde’s many services, initiatives and units, followed by time for questions, discussions and a bit of informal networking.
You can find more information about the Researcher Meet-Up series as well as other session dates here.
The topic for this session on the 23rd February, 1-2pm, will be ‘Research Data Management’.
Marie Henderson, Research Data Support Officer in RKES, will introduce some of the key aspects around research data management that you should look out for as a researcher at Strathclyde – from data management requirements and plans to tools for storing / sharing your data and useful tips.
Come along for this informal whistle-stop tour around research data and, as usual, there will be lots of time for questions and discussion.
