Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: All staff members who are involved or would like to become involved in gaining and managing research funding
The ability to successfully apply for research grants and fellowships is an important aspect for an academic career as well as many non-academic career paths (think business development and knowledge exchange for example). Research funding is, however, also an area with many unwritten rules and informal practices that can make success easier.
This peer network is thus designed to connect and support those involved or interested to become involved in research funding. The group will allow participants to share good practice and advice around research funding, learn more about relevant opportunities and support each other with proposals.
It is open to research and academic staff as well as others in relevant roles – no matter whether you already have experience in bidding for research funding or you are looking to build your practical experience.
The exact programme is discussed and decided by the network participants, with support and facilitation of regular network events and peer discussions through OSDU.
If this sounds of interest to you, please sign up for one or multiple of the following upcoming peer network sessions:
- Wed, 1st Dec 2021, 2-3:30pm - Topic: Tips from Successful Grant & Fellowship Holders
