Target Audience: All staff involved in delivering and supporting learning and teaching

Part of the Keeping well, Teaching well series, this session will support participants to explore the practice of QigongLed by an experienced Qigong teacher, we will discuss the benefits of using this practice to support wellbeing and consider if there are aspects that you can incorporate into your learning and teaching practice. The session will include an opportunity to try a Qigong practice to consider if it is something you could incorporate into your own individual wellbeing plan.

Qigong practice can lead to better health and vitality, improved posture and flexibility and a tranquil state of mind. 

 

Michaela Sinclair has practised tai chi and qigong for many years and has travelled to China numerous times to study and qualify under the Chinese Health Qigong Association in Beijing. 

Course Outcomes/ Objectives;

Following participation in this workshop, participants will be able to, 
 

  •  To give an introduction and understanding of qigong to support wellbeing. 
  • Learn and practice specific health qigong movements so that towards the end of the session, participants will be able to follow a complete, short qigong routine.
