Target Audience: Postgraduate Research Students

Participants will be given access to weekly exercises to fast track their impact no matter what discipline they work in. It will inspire and equip them with the skills and confidence needed to make a step change in the impact of their research.

After a week introduction to the programme there are 5 steps to work through, each step containing a video, short reading and a task to complete within your own research. 

 

Using the materials, participants will: 

  • Envision their impact
  • Plan for impact
  • Cut back anything hindering or distracting them from their impact
  • Get specific about the impacts they seek and the people who can help them achieve this impact
  • Achieve their first step towards impact and monitor their success.

PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development

All postgraduate research students are eligible to access the Researcher Development Programme workshops. This workshop can contribute towards the PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD).

You can find credit and class information in the Researcher Development Programme Handbook and in NEPTUNE (Engineering, HaSS) or SPIDER (Science).

Please check with your department or Supervisor to confirm if you are enrolled on the PG Cert RPD and how many credits you are expected to achieve if you are unsure.
